Guiding people to transform their desires, achieve goals, and shape brighter futures.
Raymond Brantley, a passionate writer, visionary thinker, student of Nightingale Conant, and inspirational leader for the last 25 years, devoted his knowledge to the connection between desire and achievement. With real-life experience in personal development, he discloses how the power of wanting to create an intense desire motivates someone to take action to fulfill what they want to achieve in their life, transforms aspirations into reality, and drives self-improvement and life-changing dimensions.
His latest book, The Power of Wanting, explores the inner strength of human desire to drive life-change transformations, create positive minds, and set genuine intentions to help achieve life goals and bring thoughts into action. His unique perception is that true wanting is essential to attaining desired results through goal-setting strategies, finding inner strength, setting positive intentions, and realizing true wanting power to gain success.
This book, The Power of Wanting, offers real inspiration, a deep passion for self-improvement, and the development of a positive mind for anyone who wants to achieve success.
Life often hides its greatest treasures in the most unexpected places. For me, that treasure was tucked away in an old, weathered manila folder among my Army records—a forgotten prayer that would transform not just my financial situation but my entire relationship with abundance.
I remember those days of struggle vividly. After serving my country, I found myself in a stark, empty apartment on the outskirts of town. I slept on a thin blanket laid across the cold floor, waking each morning to a sore back and a growing sense of despair. My refrigerator was often empty, its hollow hum a constant reminder of scarcity. Each meal was carefully rationed—a cup of rice here, a can of beans there—and I lived with the gnawing uncertainty of when I’d be able to afford groceries again.
But the hardest part wasn’t the hunger or the discomfort—it was the shame. Growing up in a deeply religious household, I had absorbed a misquoted belief that “money is the root of all evil.” This distortion had created invisible chains, quietly sabotaging my potential and instilling a belief that poverty somehow made me more virtuous. But poverty isn’t virtuous. It isn’t noble to lie awake at night wondering how to pay the electric bill, watching the ceiling fan spin slowly in the darkness. There’s no honor in choosing between food and medicine or in being unable to help others in need.
Then came the day that changed everything. While preparing for retirement, I was sorting through old military papers, a task I had been putting off for far too long. As I sifted through records of my service, a folded piece of paper slipped from between two yellowed pages and fluttered to the floor. I picked it up, curious. It was the Miracle Money Prayer—a gift from a fellow service member whose name I can no longer recall. At the time, I had dismissed it, but now, it seemed to almost glow in my hands, as though it had been waiting for precisely this moment, when I was finally ready to receive its message.
For the next thirty days, I recited the prayer twice daily—once as the sun rose and again as it set. What began as hesitant whispers grew into firm declarations of belief. It wasn’t just about repeating words—it was about shifting my entire mindset. I began to see money not as an enemy but as a friend, neutral and full of potential. Money wasn’t the root of all evil; it was the key to empowerment and the ability to do good in the world.
As my perspective shifted, so did my reality. Doors I had never noticed before began to open. Opportunities that once felt out of reach suddenly seemed possible. I realized that rejecting abundance wasn’t making me a better person—it was keeping me from living fully and from helping others. Scarcity wasn’t a badge of honor; it was a barrier to my purpose.
This transformation wasn’t just financial—it was spiritual. Through this journey, I learned that abundance and spirituality aren’t at odds; they are complementary forces in a life well-lived. Embracing abundance responsibly isn’t about greed—it’s about being able to give, to serve, and to live fully. It’s about having the resources to make a difference in not just your own life, but in the lives of others.
That’s why I’ve included the Miracle Money Prayer as a special gift with my book, The Power of Wanting. Because this prayer isn’t just about attracting wealth—it’s about healing our relationship with abundance. It’s about recognizing that we are meant to thrive and that financial freedom can amplify our ability to make a positive impact in ways we never imagined possible.
I share this prayer not as a formula for instant riches, but as a pathway to transformation. It’s a gift that helped me break free from the invisible chains of scarcity and step into a life of purpose and possibility. And I believe, with all my heart, it can do the same for you.
